How to download from bit torrents

Bit torrents are the most popular mode for p2p file sharing today. Anything you are looking for, there’s a very good chance you’ll find it there. So below I’m giving a step by step guide on how to use them to download what you want.

First get a client. You can get one at www.bitcomet.com . Install it on your machine.
Then goto a torrent search engine.
My favourites are-
www.torrentspy.com
www.btjunkie.org
www.mininova.org
www.piratebay.org

Now search for what you’re looking for. Based on how popular it is, you may find anywhere between 1-100 or even more links. Prefer those listed on the top, as they have a better seeder count (seeders are those who host the files).

Once you’ve made your choice, goto its page and click on the download torrent link. A new window will open, asking you to choose whether to save the file or open it with something. Choose to open it with your bittorrent client (Bitcomet in our case). The bitcomet s/w will launch, ask you some options and then begin the download.

If stuck anywhere, feel free to ask me.
